Having Trouble getting "have a facility supporting at least 5 kerbals" checked using MKS

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to use MKS to complete one of the "put an out post on the mun" contracts. It doesn't seem that KSP treats the MKS inflatable kerbitats as being able to support Kerbals. Am I doing something wrong, does MKS need to be updated to all me to use these to complete the contract, or is there something else I am missing here?

I don't use MKS (at least right now); what exactly are those domes? Also, you don't actually need to have kerbals in the base to satisfy the contract; launch it unmanned, it'll save you a lot of hassle dealing with the astronaut limits :P

I think as long as the domes do actually hold crew in a "normal" sense, it should work.

I believe those domes are inflatable Kerbitats. So this should be working based on my understanding but I'm probably missing something.

Okay, do those domes have a hatch for Kerbals to get in/out with? According to the MKS wiki

Habitation modules do not have crew capacity, while Kerbitats do. Going by the description you may need both for it to work. I can't be sure though since I have no experience with the mod (other than noting it looks very cool and it'll definitely be one of the mods I use after I finish my "stock" career :D).

Ahh thanks, I knew I had to be missing something. This is the first I've used MKS.

No problem :) I don't suppose you know if it has life support on its own? It doesn't look like TAC's updated yet :(

I've been using the Dev build of TAC for .90 without issues so you should be safe using it. I know others are as well.
