Question about cargo

Are there any tricks to parts to actually hook up inside a cargo bay (the MK2 bays to be more specific)? I can't seem to figure out what can or can't connect to the inside points.

This is in Career mode, not super far. Are there any parts that make it easier that I might not have yet?

Hold "Alt" while placing the part. It will stick to the connection node.

To be more specific, alt disables surface-attach, so any situation where you want to stick something to the attachement point but it keeps "grabbing" the surface of something else, you can use this for.
