Game Loading stops

Well I hoped you had it saved somewhere, but it's the last stable version on Steam so you can rename your current 0.90.0 install so Steam doesn't harm it and set Steam to the last stable version, then use Steam to install 0.25

Okay, didn't download the new 0.25 yet because went and deleted the "squad" and "nasamission" folders from GameData. It loaded up...

Hopefully you moved them, and didn't just straight up delete them. After it loads up, try to put them back (one at a time if need be) and run KSP.

Okay so if it loads without those folders it's likely there's a few corrupt files in there, the only way to get a new copy would be via the Steam trick, just don't let it mess up your current KSP install

I deleted them but after went through and ctrl-z (undo delete).

Tried it with just Nasa it stopped...

Tried it with just Squad it stopped...

Wit both... it stopped.

Unfortunately I don't know that 0.90's cfg files are compatible with 0.25. They did some changes and I haven't dug through to see if the cfgs are all that different.

Just make sure you are using copy/paste to move KSP's files and not "move." Windows DEP can sometimes mess with KSP installs in locations like Program Files or on the Desktop.

Don't use the bad install, after it's copied over and working just delete the bad install.

You've run KSP on the desktop and then moved it, it's DEP'ped and Windows will not allow the files to be modified by the game, this breaks the game.

No Sal, I didn't "Drag and drop move" it from Desktop to C:/ I copied, and pasted it into C drive.

What antivirus are you using? Have you made sure KSP is on its whitelist?

Downloaded 0.25 from steam, copied my old save files out.

Put a copy of 0.25 KSP Into my C drive. Threw in my old GameData folder with mods, threw in my saves folder. Game loaded up just fine, new problem though!

My saves are incompatable when it should be the same damn version!
