Persistent Survey Regions indications.

Recommended Posts

Please make a way to tell when you are in the area of a survey or other zone. The "You are entering/leaving" messages are very short and easily missed. I assume you do not want detailed maps with regions markers but there should be some way to know before you hop out of your craft that you are still in the right place. (mind you if you want to upgrade the map... a ghostly landmassed night side would be good).

If you add those markers to your navball via the map screen, the navball flashes continuously while you're in the zone. Obviously that doesn't work for EVA.... but no sane person walks to those markers, riiiiiight? :P.

I've walked/flew(via EVA pack) to a few on Mun... it was not fun

And if you want a little more (ie. the nav markers show in flight view *and* flash when you're in the zone), then try In-Flight Waypoints. :)

Thanks for those. Thinking of in-flite weigh points ;) I think I noticed that flashing once... but at the time I couldn't think about it because I was UPSIDE DOWN! As you get close to them they slide around to the dark side of the nav ball of doom... so unless I am "Not going to space today" then I cant tell. So doing a fine approach means that I need to do acrobatics and flip the vehicle to find the marker. Is there a way to free spin the navball and see its far side? or maybe a transparency of some kind (with tinting to tell its on the far side!)

Thanks.
