KSP taking ages to load?

Hi,

I recently installed Active Texture Manager, and now ksp is taking ages to load.

Is this an active texture thing?

My spec:

Core 2 q6600 (quad)

Palit/Nvidea 9600 gtx geforce graphics

any help?

Every time?

Because the first time Active Texture Management runs it compresses the mod textures, that can take an hour or more depending on mods.

subsequent runs should take only a short time.

No, just this first time. it's really annoying me, as I only have 1 hour a day on ksp, including loading times.

ah ok, it's working as planned then, it will only take a long time on the first run.

it might be best to leave it running while your doing something else, either that or revert to an older version that doesn't convert the textures to DDS.

it only happens the first time you install it, it also mentions it on the ATM page that it will happen

yup, just run it and go out for some coffee .... and hookers .....jk jk What would you call a kerbal that is a hooker? A kooker...........ok im leaving now
