"Select All" button for [CODE] blocks

Whilst copy-pasting a community fix for HotRockets configs from a user's forum post, I found that it was somewhat difficult / tedious to highlight

 blocks with large amounts of content.

Would it be possible to add a "Select All" button/link for each [code] block?

It should be possible. I think. It depends how easy to access the code (har) for the code BBCode (semantic satiation in 3....2...) is to fiddle with. If it can be fiddled with, appending (or prepending, depending on what you want to do with it) a button with some Javascript to select the element's contents would be simple enough.

:confused::)

I had made a search function for text documents before. In this case, would look kind of like this. (NOTE: a concept, wouldn't work, don't have the time for a working program.)

toFind = "[noparse][code]"
tofind2 = "

[/noparse]"

postCharList = ""

for char in post:

postCharList += char

And then it would go through the string, and when it found the first character of one of the toFind variables, it would check if the next was the second and so on, then mark them for you.

Good idea but these BB-codes are hardcoded so I can't change them. So unfortunately not a posibility

Yeah, but one click is just so damn convenient. :P

English to English translation: People are lazy. :P

I've used compilers where you could select a bracket and do something like "SHIFT+[" and it jumped to the match, is there anything like that?
