How to do temperature scan contract on Gilly above 7,600m?

Hi everyone,

I was playing on 0.90 career hard mode. A few days ago, I accept a contract about doing two temperature scans on Gilly.

one required to do temperature scan on place A above 5,000m, the other one required on place B above 7,600m.

The first one was easy, but when my kerbal reach the other required spot, the game said "no, you can't do temperature scan on this height."

I checked the ksp wiki, it said the border between high space and low space on gilly is 6,000m. And we all know Thermometer can not do temperature scan in high space.

I'm think it might be a small bug/problem from the contract generator.

The mod I used: Kerbal Engineer Redux, Stock Revamp, InFlightWaypoints

This may be a bug. I feel like a similar issue (temp scan around Gilly at an illegal altitude) has been posted previously. I don't recall a fix there either.

You can complete contracts in the debug menu. This is a case where I think it's alright to do that because you did meet the contract conditions.

Yep, this is already in the bug tracker. Aside from the debug menu, the only way to work around this is just decline those contracts
