Finally got the PID tuner set for the plane, allowing it to maintain altitude, deviating no more than 10-20 metres once stabilized, and she no longer pitches like a drunken sailer, at least full. Off to the North Pole.

The entire journey. Was actually expecting a crash on landing when I ran out of fuel, but made a perfect landing back at KSC.

Range is more than I care to test, I use it for dropping RT relay rovers so it has to be able to fly tight circles until they land - however also cruises around at 600kts at altitude so going places doesn't take all day. I suspect something similar could be built from stock Mk3 parts.

I have to say thank you for posting those. They caused me to want to take a short break from The Repopulation testing and load up KSP one more time.

In 2 hours I managed to build and test fly this, my new attack SSTO craft. It isn't as quick as some of my fighters but it is still quite solid for the design. I feel I may be doing some minor work here and there over the next few days but it is a start with only 2 hours of work on it.

I am messing with the leading edge slats and flap design to see how much of an affect it will have on a 40ton aircraft.

So far it has been as expected quite promising and I am remembering a lot of stuff I started to forget from my RO install that I haven't bothered with in months.
