How to change kerbals job? Ksp .90

I change my kerbals name braveness and dumbness and when i do it always changes his job from pilot to scientist anyone know why or how to change to a job u want ur kerbak to have.

The developers took a short-cut when implementing that feature and the Kerbal's name is what determines their job. Change the name? Change the job.

(Hopefully at some point in the future, they fix it so that the job is defined by an attribute instead of some "magic" function which uses the name value as a seed.)

This - or at least use a prefix/suffix for the name to determine the profession. But I would rather have it as another attribute, like courage, stupidity, EXP value and some time in the future gender (because ... will get censored ).
