Hello and two newbye questions.

Hello all! I\'m RealDarko, and I discovered the game by the posts on SimHq, I\'m trying the demo now and I\'m loving it. So I hope to jump to full version really really soon.

Before I do the jump to full version I will like to ask for a manual or something, so I can create my first rockets that can reach Kerbal orbit and then back to earth without asking tons of questions. Is something similar or a 'how to start' post?

And for the future, exist the chance to fly a 'shuttle' to the space, put a sattelite in orbit or dock with a space station (is possible to have orbiting space stations?) and the glide back to Kerbal?

Thats it thanks a lot and see you in Kerbal space!

Welcome to the KSP Forums!

Since the game is in early Alpha and things are constantly changing, there is no manual as it would take too much time and effort to keep updated. Things like that are usually left until much later in the development process.

As posted by Sal, you can find most of what you need to know off those links.

Of course, you can always join the official IRC channel and get help or ask questions. There\'s almost always someone there, but be patient as it may take a few minutes for anyone to reply.

Happy Launching!

Been trawling the forums for some more info for you, here is a very good beginners guide : http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=4137.0

And here is another but it is more complex : http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=7787.msg114042#msg114042

As Capt\'n Skunky has said, there is no official tutorial beyond what you have already seen in the game itself.

Info on the IRC chat channel can be found here : http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=9045.0

And if you want to see other people rockets for inspiration for building your own, the best place to look is here in the Spacecraft Exchange : http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?board=15.0

If you have any questions feel free to ask in the Support section :)

Thanks a lot for those tutorials. Think they will help to get me to the Mun :)

Just one more question. Is possible somehow that when I place a new part, another one of the same type gets hooked on the opposite part? So I can easily build simetrical rockets?

Ahh yeah, the symmetry tool :)

When in the vehicle assembly building, look to the top left of the view area, there will be a circle with a dot at it\'s center.

This is the symmetry selection icon, you can also use the X key.

As well as that, you have Control + Z to undo, Control+click to refind parts in the sidebar easily, and shift+click to drag the rocket around, also Alt+click to duplicate parts.

Hi! Welcome to the KSP forums! Enjoy your stay :).

And for the future, exist the chance to fly a 'shuttle' to the space, put a sattelite in orbit or dock with a space station (is possible to have orbiting space stations?) and the glide back to Kerbal?

The horizontal VAB (for airplanes and that stuff) is planned for the next update, 0.15.

Sattelites are already in some addon packs. But I\'m sure they will ever be in the game.

Docking is also planned for 0.15 (but will probably be dalayed to 0.16 because unfinished).

If you can dock, it will be likely you\'ll be able to make space stations :D.
