Hello everyone!

I registered here a few weeks ago after playing the free demo for a few months

and just now stumbled upon the introduction section, so I hope I don\'t upset any

moderators or admins by starting this thread. :-[

Well now some informations about myself:

I am German, so German is my main language so I hope you understand if I write silly sometimes.

I found out about Kerbal Space Program at the gmod.de forum a few months ago and immediately loved it.

My favorite kind of games are space and flight oriented games like: Homeworld, Freespace, Freelancer,

StarLancer,X2, Garrysmod, Crysis (mainly the Cry Engine Sandbox and the VTOL), IL2, Lock On and of course Kerbal Space Program,

because I love to mod games.

I have already begun to port some of my ships to Kerbal Space Program, but since I have to split them up into proper parts it takes a while.

But I have managed to create a proof of concept ship with a bad texture for KSP:

I know, the texture is horrible but it wasn\'t meant for release anyway.

I also tried RP\'ing a while ago but due to my lack of time I had to give it up.

(And because I spend hours editing my posts to make sure that I don\'t write too much garbage ;))

I guess thats all I have to say :-X.

Edit:

It seems that the Forum doesn\'t like dropbox links...

It should be fixed now.

Hi Matzenino, welcome to the forums.

You have good taste in games, have you had a chance to try Starwolves as well? It has some similarities to Homeworld.

Also if you can find a copy, Tie Fighter is not to be missed, or one of my favorites, Space rangers 2, though it\'s not a traditional space flight game it\'s still a lot of fun.

Have fun flying :)

Oh yes Starwolves...

I played the demo of it and kinda liked it.

Sadly the retail price at the time was a little too big for me to afford.

But from what I remember of it, it felt like Nexus the Jupiter Incident.

Also a great game btw!

How could I forget Nexus after all the hassle I had with an illegible product key :) It\'s a brilliant game, jeeze I could play space games forever, just the other day I dug out my copy of Independence War and I still play Frontier and First Encounters.

I wish space combat would come back into fashion, no ones tried making a modern newtonian space combat game complete with orbits, I\'ve always wondered how it\'d turn out.

Maybe if KSP gets multiplayer, there\'s already a few gun mods :)
