Automatic Thrust?

Hi there guys,

Imagine delivering a rover or landing on Duna, is it possible to set a thrusters to start about 50 meters before landing? Automatically that is...

I imagine you could rig something up using RemoteTech's flight computer, or a similar addon.. But may I ask why you would want to automatically start thrusting at 50m? I would think it would be very hard to ensure your automatic firing is at the right time, and thrust % for a safe landing without some input from yourself regardless.

FYI, there's currently a Landertron bug that causes bad stuff to happen when you try to use it to land a vehicle horizontally. I hope to have a fix out soonish.

Tbh I haven't used Landertron, it's just on my future list for if I pluck up courage to use RT2 I wonder if this bug could be fixed by mounting a probe core such that it'd be vertical when the rover's horizontal, and controlling from there...
