Well my sister has her music on WAY to loud.

Me and my sister have to go into the computer room to use the computers.(Desktop PCs.)

And we are directly behind each other and I can hear her music through her headphones.

I\'ve already tried asking her, turning my headphones up louder than her and I even logged her off the computer when she went to get a drink.

I\'m also trying to slow the internet down on her...

Any ideas on how to get her to turn her music down?

The reason I don\'t want to hear her stupid music is because I\'m trying to successfully land on the moon and I cannot concentrate.

Also we have two totally different music tastes.(She likes techno where I like heavy metal.)

Take control of the computer and make it play heavy metal. Then, turn the volume way up so that it hurts her ears so much she HAS to stop.

log into 192.168.1.1 / 192.168.0.1 / 192.168.1.244 (admin / password or admin / admin is default most of the time)

If its on wireless - restrict access to her computer by MAC

if its wired Use QoS to reduce her computers priority to next to nothing

or

block access on her (local) IP or by MAC (depends on your router what you can do) to anything containing \'WWW\'

Or... You know... Ask her to turn it down

You stole my post!

What he said, get into the router and setup a firewall rule blocking her computer.

If I do that she will tell my parents and to them when I do this I\'m always the bad guy.

... tell her to turn it down. If she doesn\'t, go to your parents, if that doesn\'t work, then I can\'t help you. All I can say is to not provoke her by deleting stuff or limiting her bandwith.

Pssh, the totally reasonable methods are overrated and no fun!

Let\'s see...Oh! You could rearrange the jack outputs! Or just disable one, or mute it. :3

Ever considered moving your computer?

Yes, here\'s what my parents said.

'That computer costed too much money for you to drop and break.'

Good thing my parents got a VPN host on the computer.

I might get onto that and move the mouse around.

So she thinks YouTube\'s hacking her.
