Beta means nothing people. KSP was in alpha until very recently. Development state says nothing about the quality of the game. Instead, it says something about the quality of the game relative to the development state.

Also they have a free demo on the website, which I'm currently downloading and I sense money may be thrown later today. Awesome find FishInferno.

Played through the demo about 5 times, failed to not kill multiple astronauts, bought the game. This is awesome! FishInferno, wherever you find this crap, thank you thank you thank you.

Ironically, I actually havent had a chance to play it yet:P I just googled "mars colonization game"

Well play it, because its awesome! I've encountered a handful of bugs (to be expected with a beta game) but everything is remarkably stable, well designed, and a genuine challenge (and I'm not playing with meteors yet).

CAUTION: I have discovered a bug that effectively ruins your colony, so be careful.

When building a structure with a forklift or a palette very close, make sure your astronaut has to walk some distance before placing down the crate. Failure to do so may cause the completed structure to spawn not where you tell it, but rather on top of the forklift/palette. If its on a palette, you can destroy it but you lose all but one of the crates. If it is on a forklift it cannot be destroyed and is usually misaligned to the building snap grid, generally causing bad times.

Hi everyone, I'm the developer for Sol 0. I noticed I was getting a bit of traffic from over here, so I figured I would stop by. I'm a huge Kerbal fan (if you couldn't tell from a few of the influences in the game...), so it's cool that Sol 0 is getting a bit of notice over here. Sol 0 is still in beta - still a few bugs and honestly a bit less refined than Kerbal's beta. That said, I am updating frequently with bug fixes and am now trying to hit a two-week or so update schedule. The bug noted above is fixed for the next update.

Sol 0 was Greenlit back in early December, and I'm planning on releasing on Steam in early 2015, so if early access isn't your thing, the full 1.0 release is on the horizon!
