I reverted to VAB and ended up "outside" thanks to some strange glitch. Luckily it was a nice sunny day.

I'll have you know, it's not easy getting those cloaking devices to work right on an entire building like that.

Actually they put those big glass panels in so the bosses could keep an eye on that maniac truck/lorry driver who feels he must constantly race around the grounds at unsafe speeds.
