Also if you look on the navball just above the throttle settings where the RCS light exists today, you\'ll see something that says OVR THR

It lit up whenever the throttle was at full.

That\'s all it did.

No, it allowed you to go to 110% thrust, but with a much higher heat output, and thus risk of explosions.

Were the trees collidables ?

Also, I use Unity and, damn, those trees looks like the default Unity palmtrees ! They\'re the only ones you get in the free version (For me, the full version is useless, and i\'m only 11 yo). I modelled a desert a few weeks ago and placing trees is booooooooooring... not surprising they was the only ones on the planet ;P

I\'m around about 95% sure it doesn\'t, I\'ve not got any change in thrust from 0.10.1 (which had the OVR THR), and 0.11 (which had RCS there instead).

Hmm, I could never notice any difference while it was on. I suppose I should try out 0.9 again and see.

Not only did we have palm trees, but we had large mountains too.

There\'s the ocean for you, not much to see, a bit reflective too.

Ah, flat seas (from back when there were no splashdown animations, though the sea was animated to a point).

I have 0.8...

I don\'t need your fancy-schmancy 'struts', or 'symettry', or 'placing parts next to the rocket then putting back on instead of deleting everything'.

But I can\'t find 0.7 anywhere here... :\'(

Thanks GroundHOG-2010, yes, look, the sea surface is clearly dimpled with some kind of shiney bump map. It was much easier to gauge the distance between craft and surface then. Its not quite as blue as I remember (I must have been wearing azure tinted spectacles jk) but it is less chequered, though that is not entirely absent.

Well I am going to ask the obvious noob question here, but why were the trees taken out? Are they coming back, if so when?

The trees were originally part of the VAB area, but were taken out for the runway (because thats where the runway is now). They wouldn\'t put the trees back in, or the grass, because it was and is an asset that comes with the unity engine, which means its under there terms and rules.

Thanks for the clarification.
