suggest mods for my (lets role play)

As a personal challange I intend to take kerballing to the extreme ie im going to be using my funds to authorize constructions maintaince of space vehicles so for example if I have 3 shuttles ready to go at any time and I loose one on reentry then I will force my self to work with only the two. The main thing this is going to do is force me to wait longer between launches.

Anyway I digress. Im looking for mods that I can incorporate to help me achieve this role play and still have fun.

Mods I know I will use:

Mechanical Jeb

navyfishes docking mod.

The kerbal beautification pack

One of the fairing mods (suggest one)

kerbal alarm clock

Mods im considering:

FAR

Infernal robotics.

remote tech.

better then starting manned.

inhanced netball

Kerbal attachment system

Feel free to suggest mods that arnt on this list or encourage me to use the ones ive listed as considering

As a side note ive had some bad experinces with farram aerospace. Everyone says its way better then stock aerodynamics but anytime I use fairing my rockets all ways invert or sway or do something redicuouls and in my mind realistically a fairing is a requirement.

How about Lack Luster Labs? Also, Bargain Rocket parts ( http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/58639-0-24-Bargain-Rocket-Parts-v1-1-Bust-out-the-duct-tape-we-re-going-to-space! ) and the Vertical Propulsion Emporium (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/74625-0-25-Vertical-Propulsion-Emporium-v0-20a-%2827th-Oct-2014%29), just for fun. Also, what are your fairings made of? wings? structural panels? anything? This sounds like a job for procedural fairings

Infernal Robotics is a must have in my opinion. Opens a ton of possibilities for cargo as well as everything else.

If you have problems with FAR, try NEAR. Or there are some good guides out there on how to design and fly in FAR.

B9 Is a must in my opinion, as well as (mentioned above) B9 Procedural Parts (wings) are to die for.

Better than starting manned does not work with many other mods.

I suggest you start with the SETI-BalanceMod (link in my signature) and the mods listed under INSTALL and STATUS.

That should be plenty for a start. If you want to roleplay it, Wanderfound already suggested KCT, which should work well with SETI.

Then you can add more CTT/stock compatible mods, like procedural dynamics and B9 if you are into aircraft.

KAS - I don't even know if I am still able to play without it.

Also I would suggest KSP Interstellar - allows tons of new possibilities.

Personally I cannot play without FAR anymore even though I'm not that fond of atmospheric flights. Still, it saves me dV to orbit and forces me to think aerodynamically when I design my rockets.
