That is beautiful.

I know that feeling, having your poor little kerbs alone and so far from home. That's why I'm never content to launch a manned mission without a ton of backups and redundancy. It makes for very difficult missions to plan... but that's what makes it so darn fun!

Hendrin Kerman and myself have long been inspired by this picture, it is one of my screensaver photos. We took the opportunity to do an artistic recreation of this iconic image today while on a science mission on Duna - thanks for the sweet pic!
