Symmetry fixes?

What type of fixes will there be to the symmetry system? Specifically how if you make an item and the item has symmetry items on it already and you use mod+left click and make two of them and place them in symmetry there are lots of bugs in how it is dealt with(or more accurately it seems a lack of logic in dealing with it.).
