Actually I think that's a great idea. Make it specific too. One thread for "New Planets." and one for "Saturn Analog and other Gas Giants"

Simply saying that certain topics have been discussed to death is not a very great reason for closing a thread. New people are joining the forums and may have something of value to say. So I say yes to megathreads on many WNTS topics.

Doesn't the model for GP2 already exist? There's a picture on the Wiki. I understand there's a lot more to making a planet than just modelling and making biomes, but wouldn't a Gas Giant be the easiest type of planet to add, since it doesn't need biomes and can't be landed on in normal circumstances?

I would like to see it added, though for me it would mean getting beyond Minmus first.

Without moons, there's not much to do with a gas giant, and making those would take up more time. Still, I'd like to see Squad put in the time to make at least one more gas giant for the game.
