a mod that disables docking ports

a problem i've run into with my project is that i use senior ports to connect my vessel together but the ports have to slide past other senior ports after they've undocked; meaning i have to undock all more than once.

can anyone make a mod for me that can add a disable option to all stock docking ports? it has to work with ksp 0.24.2 i hope it isn't too big of an ask.

Toadicus knows a lot about tweakables and docking ports themselves. You could try asking him. This thread is devoted to his AdaptiveDockingNode mod, which adds some functionality to docking ports. I think adding your idea to it would be ok.
