Greetings from the UK.

Well I've been reading this forum for ages, playing the game even longer, since about 0.20.

I've followed many forums over the years and found most to be pitiful places full of hate and unrest with no useful information being returned.

Because of all the negativity around I had never wanted to offer any contributions or write many posts even when knowing the subject being discussed.

However, this place seems almost to be a polar opposite.

With that in mind and the fact I'm reading something here almost daily decided to get my finger out and start to contribute or at least say Hi for now.

I hope to get to know some of you as the future rolls on, and may be helped out by some, or help out others.

We have a lot of good people here, and our complainers at least provide constructive criticism and contribute to the community, so I think you'll like it here as an active member.

First of, welcome James. Sal is right about our community being awesome, and I got to know a few of those wonderful people here as proof.

Yeah, compared to the absolute war of Reddit and other forums, this place is a palace of hapiness. and it is, usually Occasionally we get a thread on certain topics, or a certain type of thread and it just ends up getting locked due to an argument, but otherwise this is a very nice place.

Not really any need to repeat what others have said... but it's all true. I've maybe seen four or five "hate" threads ever, and even then they dissipated really quickly.
