OscarWilde
I'm going to put this under gameplay, as it has to do with the stock file structure.Anyone know where the models are for the base game Kerbals? ie. Jebediah.. Also does the game store individual models for each Kerbal?Basically I want to edit the model and make a unique Kerbal to be the head of my space program but I don't know much about the ksp file structure. Found all the parts and such but can't seem to find the models for the Kerbals themselves.I do know how to edit the name of a kerbal.. so there must be at least some form of "uniqueness" to each kerbal. Norpo
I don't think you can give specific kerbals different looks in the stock game, Bill, Bob, and Jeb's orange suits may be hardcoded. However, there's a mod that let's you what you're looking for, I believe, TextureReplacer. (you just need to install texture packs seperate): http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/107471-0-90-TextureReplacer-2-1-2-new-thread-the-old-one-is-brokenAs for where the files are located, I don't know, sorry. klesh
The files would be in the various shared.assets files found in KSP_Data. I have no idea which one. You'll need a special program like UnityAssetsExplorer to access them.
Sirrobert
Texture replacer allows you to edit the head and spacesuit of kerbals individually
