  1. Ah, the kind of transciever I want has to be able to be mounted on a pcb, so that unfortunatetly won't cut it
  2. Hello guys, I am currently doing a project for resistant materials GCSE, and one of the things I want my product to do is to be able to play music via Bluetooth, I have a speaker, and I bought the HC-05 RS232 TTL 30ft Wireless bluetooth RF Transceiver. However, all the documentation I have found to get it running says that it needs to be hooked up to a separate microcontroller, and I don't really want to go through the hassle of buying and using an arduino. So: Is it possible to make this particular Bluetooth transciever run on its own? If not, can anyone point me to a transciever that can run on its own?
  3. Nintendo and companies that make games for them usually have some fantastic music with their games. Such as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfp9DvU5-Hs (How do I embed videos?) Also a very good game, as it happens!
  4. You could always get the software they use in schools, like Cubase or Sequel (IMO, Cubase is easier to use, since the way it shows you the track is more linear, and just easier to comprehend)
  5. Hello, I am having a small problem with a plane I have built. For some reason, when the plane is trying to take off and pulling up, the plane begins to bounce on it's front wheels (the back wheel kicks up), which hinders the plane taking off. Is there a way to rectify this problem. EDIT: So, I set the front landing gear spring and damper to 0.5, and also set the tail gear spring and damper to 2, and the problem was fixed! Thanks for the help guys.
  6. Tsiolkovsky Alpha? Konstantin Base One? Y'know, to pay homage to the guy that pioneered a key part of rocketry and essentially made an extraplanetary base possible.
  7. I do have some screenshots that bring a smile to my face...
  8. Just a small request, but could the link for the config file be changed to a different site, because my antivirus complains that the site is unsafe, and I would rather not take my chances with malware.
  9. Hello, I am trying to build a relatively small seaplane (Mk2), but for some reason the aerodynamics of the entire thing is somehow borked. Whenever I load in the craft, and make a takeoff run, as soon as I pull up, the plane immediately flips up so it is backwards, and then promptly belly-flops on the runway. I have tried tweaking the COM and COL to get them closer together (just for clarification, the COL is a little behind the COM, as it should be), but the plane refuses to cooperate. Can any of the more adept plane-builders take a look and see what is wrong. Thanks in advance. 10. I remember the first time I attempted to dock something - I had a small station core and was trying to dock a really big fuel depot to it (the station core was made of 1.25m parts, the fuel depot Mk3!). I had time warped for ages to get a good intercept, and when I got close enough to the thing to begin final docking procedure, my really rubbish RCS pot placement became prevalent. Whenever I tried to align the docking port on the depot with the other one on the core, it had orbited around by 90 degrees, and when I realigned the docking ports, it had gone around again! This went on for another 5 minutes before the fuel depot finally spiraled in and had a rather bumpy docking thanks to those docking magnets. It was quite a hair raising experience - I don't dock too often, but now it's much less scary/terrifying.
  11. I remember one time a while back, where I had drained half the fuel in my main orbiters tanks to line up RCS ports...and forgot to fill them back up again. I went on to go in orbit of the Mun and get a survey - but I had like 2 m/s of Dv in the tanks once I had made a trajectory home!
  12. Hello, so I have recently made a A10-Thunderbolt based aircraft, and it does its job pretty well. However, it is a little on the twitchy side when it comes to steering (it's actually more maneuverable than any of the jet fighters I've made!), so much so that pressing hard down on the W key causes it to flip out. Is there any way I can make it more stable and less chaotic when it comes to steering? Thanks in advance. PS: I don't have some pictures of it right now, but I can get some if you wish.
  13. The game From The Depths, while it is an amazing sandbox game, has a somewhat...clunky and unintuitive UI. The keyboard based building system also is a little hard to get your head around, but you can change to mouse-based if you want.
  14. By the looks of it, KerbalStuff is being shut down. I think it's quite important that he uploads it to another place
