  2. I assume you use RoverDude's Alcubierre mod? If so, it will hase something to do with how his mod works. Did you activate the drive and subspace bubble before you used hyperedit? Roverdude's Alcubierre mod has 2 drive settings. which one had you set it to?
  3. Hi! Yep, still around. And yes even back to work. Halftime though, can't yet handle more. But it is literally right around the corner, so byebye traffic jams! I've been trying to get into managing this mod again, with Visual Studio this time... Can't even get it to compile properly. Before this I used Netbeans with C# plugins, worked nicely. But its changed hands, it is no longer Oracle's but now managed by Apache. A lot of its plugins are gone, including C#... When I have the time/energy I'm going to try MonoDevelop as IDE. And with all that, I still haven't gotten to actually updating the sourcecode. I did briefly try it in KSP 1.7 with RoverDude's Alcubierre mod. And everything at least seemed to work. With exception of some surfaces not reacting properly to attaching things on them. (the void engine for example). With KSP2 being announced, I was thinking of just compiling the warship.dll for KSP1 when it updates and preparing the IXS for KSP2. That's what I'd love to do. But my current situation is not really allowing me to go full steam (nevermind the pun). I still need a whole lot of sleep. So, although I would very much like to continue maintaining this, if you want to take over I'm open for that. What do you think?

  5. the original 3D modelling was done by @RoverDude and is based on the design of JTL on a ship with FTL drive in turn based on Dr. Alcubierre's  theory on circumventing Einstein's theory of the unattainable light speed. coincidentally also what Roddenberry imagined for Star Trek.

  9. Glad you bring it up... the IXS needs more love n care. Ever since KSP calculates collisions differently its been having issues. I know my way around a C# IDE and ModuleManager scripts, but graphics aren't quite my thing. I can make mechanical based 3D objects (in OpenSCAD), but completing them with animation for KSP is puzzling me. And making textures.... O.o i tried, i'm just not artistic enough. And overall: i'd like to hear practical tips on what to update. After what's happened, i'm realizing its not just a good idea to admit what i can't or can do. It's become a necessity. So... anyone wanting to jump in on the graphical part of the Pod expansion? (https://github.com/bartblommaerts/warpship/tree/Release/Design/IXS_Pod)?

  11. despite textures and mod dependencies, the DLL isn't updated to KSP releases. the drones' rcs doesn't work, their clamping doesn't work, fuel tank configs are off and their surface definitions are off.... so sad because this is one hell of a cool mod
  12. Well: in Dec. 2017 i had a gastric bypass because no amount of exercise and diet made me loose enough weight. Because of this volume per meal needs to go down but nr of meals a day goes from 3 to 6. One day in april i got distracted in my workshop (i make rc Submarines and am preparing my first cosplay ) and that made my sugarlevel go too low. by the time i noticed it was too late. I did manage to get to the pantry, but before i could open something to eat i lost consciousness. I was found 3h later shaking and foaming. When i woke up, i was on the couch in the livingroom with an ambulance medic before me. So all this thought me that when i felt my sugar go low, i don't have 1 to 2 hours to get it back up again. Later, in June we went shopping to a mall and were checking out at the register when i felt sugerlevels go to low again. So excused myself and took off to get me something with sugar in it. A couple minutes later i was found in a pool of blood at the bottom of the escalator. I think i probably lost consciousness on the escalator and took a dive. When i woke up i was in a room that looked like a hospital room, but rather big and comfy. To me it felt like i had been out for a couple of hours, my spouse came in a bit later and told me 5 weeks had passed. I had had 6 hemorrhages, they had to cut open my skull to reach and repair. then had to put me in artificial coma for 10 days. The surgeons gave me 15% survival chance and advised my spouse to start making preparations for me passing. I remember none of any of it of the entire 5 weeks, even though i have been awake at times and people visiting me in the hospital and have conversations with me. The only thing i do remember are very very vivid dreams and they all seemed to have the purpose of drawing me 'to the light'. But every-time i figured out it was a dream (i taught myself lucid dreaming when i was young so i could watch horrormovies without nightmares afterward) the dream abruptly stopped. Until i finally became fed up with those deceptive dreams, and that caused an energy surge that woke me up. after the gastric bypass until june i lost 25kg. Being mostly unconscious in the hospital for a couple weeks i lost another 15kg. Before the surgery i thought 30kg loss would be a grand success. Now it's 40kg, i'm beneath what BMI dictates and no matter what i eat weight doesn't build up. On top of that i needed lighter glasses because my vision got better, and the depression i was still struggling with since one-hell-of-a-burnout in 2010, that is gone... So yeah. It was a dangerous thing that happened, but all in all i'm better of now then i was in the 8 years before it happened. But that is the positive side, being knocked out for so long by 6 brainbleeds also sabotages my short term memory. And had my right side parallised for a while. I'm still seeing a physiotherapist for my right shoulder. Its the short-term memory issue that is keeping me from doing mentally complicated things for an extended time. When my brain gets too tired it forces me to sleep immediately, regardless where i am. But yeah, i do think there's more positive stuff happening then negative. Thanks for asking though. Putting it to words is a big help in dealing with it all. Hopefully i'll recuperate enough to pick up this mod again, and if i get help from someone who's more well-versed in the graphics stuff, i'd certainly get all excited. Thanks Kurgan, you make me very happy having inspired your mod!
  13. Given all that happened, i'm quite well. And i really really appreciate it when anyone expresses concern. It is wonderful to feel needed. As things are going, i'll be working again by February. Even tho it'll be part-time for a start. Right before i had the accident i did the admission test for a position around the corner here. For a job i've been doing more then 10 years. When they heard what happened to me they actually announced they'd wait for me.I'm feeling so so so lucky.

  15. Restored WildBlueIndustries folder in Gamedata; but removed the MM_Skills patch and now kOS works even with WBI mods installed =D YAY! Thanks to all of you @Angel-125 @Steven Mading and @Madmax ,you saved my sanity

  17. @Steven MadingI made a copy of the entire KSP installation and then excluded WildBlueIndustries from the mods... and i got a working kOS :'( AGEx is still loaded so it looks like the ModulekOSVoidAction isn't the culprit. I'm browsing WildBlueIndustries mods sourcecode on Github, trying to find the entry for this WBIPartScrapper. Hopefully i can find it. But nevertheless, I hope @Angel-125 is going to know what needs to be changed.

I put a KSP log here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2cg6xurzipt8qnn/KSPlog.txt?dl=0 I looked through it, and there are quite a few errors mentioning: [ERR 15:23:27.518] Cannot find a PartModule of typename 'ModulekOSVoidAction' I added both kOS mod and the kOSforAll mod. Maybe the error because of kOSForAll... This ship deff. has a kOS CPU in its design. But as is visible in the control panel of kOS, no CPUs are found.:
  19. I did that, i installed the latest kOS for version 1.4.1 on KSP 1.4.5 with CKAN. But the menu entries for assigning scripts to cores didn't get added, and the control panel never detected any kOS processors on the vessel with the CPU part added. So according to you there might be conflict with another mod?
  20. How come kOS is stranded at KSP version 1.4.1? It doesn't work on version 1.4.5 and i do so much miss it, the drone-plane that launches CommSats just won't work without (see https://flic.kr/s/aHsma3Pt7C )

Odd, i first installled GC with ConfigurableContainers and ConfigurableContainerCore; and it gave that error in the log. i removed ConfigurableContainers but kept the core and the error remained. That's when i posted here. Based on your reply i uninstalled ConfigurableContainersCore, which also pulled TCA, ATutils and GC, and reinstalled them. Now it does work! Thx or the fast reply Allista! Love your mods, can't design my ships without them.

  23. sorry guys, i've been seeing more of hospitals and revalidation centers then i have KSP. Latest incident put into an artificial coma for about 5 weeks. For the moment i'm not even capable of doing programming And the often updates to KSP changed the behaviour of just about anything i have built, making testing the IXS produce uncertain results.
  24. Hi Beetlecat! Yes, i think it is trying to use the big tail engine in the balance, even tho it isn't even turned on. My OPT based planes are all configured with a big rocket engine and a pair of Jet engines facing the rear, both set to 'manual' control in TCA using Group 1 and 2. On the bottom there is a cluster of VTOL engines divided in 3 sizes. The Largest are defined as group 3 and set to 'thrust' only, the mid-size ones are set to group 4, angeled to the sides a bit, and configured for both 'thrust and manouvering' and the smallest ones are mounted on the sides, assigned group nr 5 and set to manouvering only. This setup used to work literally for years. Sad to see it malfunction now

I got an odd issue with TCA this time, and for the first time i cannot figure it out what's wrong. i recorded it: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zNq9IFWv66Iyp099XDd4jReWZKyH9oMu once i activate TCA, the shuttle does not stay level anymore, its as if it thinks that both the front and the roof are the ship's top. has anyone had something like this before?
