  1. Tonight I played around with this version of the mod on 64-bit KSP .24 for Linux, and I couldn't get any abnormal behavior to occur. These problems seem to be limited to the Windows version only.
  2. For what it's worth, in 64-bit KSP for Linux all decouplers (including Procedural Fairings) work exactly as expected out-of-the-box.
  3. For what it's worth, in 64-bit KSP for Linux all decouplers (including Procedural Fairings) work exactly as expected out-of-the-box. Maybe that will help with troubleshooting or narrowing down the real issue?
  4. I tried editing BA's configs to move everything into the right spots, but couldn't ever get it working. I ended up just going back to EVE 7-3 until Thesonicgalaxy has time to update this mod properly.
  5. I deleted the folder and unzipped it again. It's working fine now, maybe a file was corrupt.
  6. When using the toolbar, I can't get the drop-down menu button to show any options. Here's a screenshot: The small black box is what shows up when you click the drop-down arrow. I'm playing on Linux (64-bit). I also tried 32-bit version and had the same problem. Here's the log file: https://gist.github.com/Unknown-Zombie/6ac27b81d8fe69e4948b#file-ksp-linux-toolbar-log-paste
  7. Yeah. It's ridiculous and mind-boggling. Did they go out of their way to make the game close itself if it reaches a certain amount of RAM? I can't think of any other reason the 64-bit client would have that kind of restriction.
  8. Thanks for making this! I play on Linux using the 64-bit client and this is great because, despite what you'd think, the 64-bit client still won't go over 3.5 GB of RAM. Once it hits that point it just closes with no errors and a clean log. No idea why. Anyway, great job!
  9. I couldn't get Kerbal Engineer to play nice at all. It had to go.. I want my nice cockpits!
  10. You mean attaching them pointing straight up to hold on at the bottom of the engines? Hah! That's not a bad idea, or at the very least, in line with the Kerbal way of thinking.
  11. Is anyone else noticing in .22 that the launch clamps aren't holding your ship tightly? I'm finding that once my ship loads in, one or more of the clamps will have shifted slightly and my rocket will be tilting to one side or the other. Obviously, I've put them on with symmetry tool, so they are supposed to all be level and attached at the same height level.
  12. It's not my GPU. It's also not heat, because my case has adequate airflow. It's a full-size tower that I built myself. I practice cable management, and blow it out with air regularly. I suspect it may be that the Linux client (what I'm using) isn't utilizing resources efficiently (the game is in alpha, I completely understand). I haven't played the game using Windows client.
  13. What I don't understand is the times that my game runs like a slideshow, but the game time hasn't gone in the red, and my CPU is only being 80% utilized.
  14. I do try to make sure my Kerbals are safe. I generally test launch spacecraft using a remote-control probe before doing the real launch with Kerbals inside.
