Back in the old days 0.18-0-19 you could "land" on Jool

Here Jeb is lowered down below an balloon to the surface, you could not land a ship or probe as you whould be thrown around a lot so it would be destroyed but kerbals was imune.

I was unable to plant an flag and filed an bug report, next version and jool had no bottom but is transparent.

And yes you have to rescue him. again in 0.9 it was posible to return from the "surface" in stock its not now, aerospikes has an isp of 70 or something, all other engines has 0 in mechjeb.

Nothing in KSP is as simple as it seems.

Even something as mundane as editing a save file with WordPad and deleting a part from a ship is complicated. You can't simply delete the PART block of the thing you want to delete. You have to look everywhere else in the ship's code block and delete all the connections other parts have to the part you deleted. If you don't, the game will glitch in completely unexpected ways (for me, deleting a part by merely erasing the PART block caused the staging diagram to glitch and start showing undefined "null" parts, and also caused the entire surface of Minmus to disappear whenever the modified ship was the one being "flown").

That's what you call a working anti-cheat system, right? :D
