So, I found a Minecraft skin of a Kerbal and a .blend that creates a Minecraft skin in 3D in blender. And this is what came out of it:

More to come soon! Also, if anyone can give me directions on how to change what the background looks like, I\'ll be really grateful.

Background? Just add a flat area behind the mesh with your picture of choice UV mapped onto it, like one face of a cube

actually what you want to do to change the blender background is go to world settings change the color that looks like your background. this only effects the render or game background. i cant remember what it\'s called. it\'s like the horizon
