Heat ripple effect.

Would it be possible to add some kind of heat ripple effect from exhaust jets under Unity 5? Under atmosphere only, of course. A slight ripple effect might work for overheated parts too. Or a bit randomly here and there in hot atmospheric biomes.

Not really a request, but anyone can claim it and build it up if they feel like it. I'm mostly curious about Unity 5.

It's always been possible, Unity 5 or not. There's an atmospheric heat ripple effect in my mod Kopernicus Expansion, but I don't think there's an engine heat refraction mod yet, though it'd be pretty trivial to make one.

Now that we have command buffers, it should actually be surprisingly easy to do. I have a few things I'd like to add before I get there though.
