Re-installment

Recommended Posts

Due to the high number of mods of which I have installed and added to KSP I presume this to be causing the game to crash during the launching of the application. I'd really like to get rid of the majority or all these mods and start over, so I was thinking whether or not there is a way for me to reinstall the game, losing the mods, but not having to purchase another copy of the game as I purchased it from the official website and not from Steam.

Anybody out there got any ideas for how to overcome this problem?
I would really appreciate it, whether it turns out possible or not.

If you have archive file downloaded from official store, you can just extract it again, wherever you want it. If you don't have file, you can always download it again from official store, or even last previous stable version of KSP and unpack anywhere you want it.

Thanks for the help. But does that mean that I would have to use up another copy/ buy the game again in order to reinstall it from the website, or is it perfectly ok to do so as I have already payed for it?

You can download from the store as many times as you like. Just log in and go to your purchases, there should be a download link available there.

Also helps to keep hold of the zips or install packages in case you want to play on old versions that are no longer available to download.

Thanks so much for the help, I really appreciate it. I'll make sure to do that and I'll hopefully have the problem solved.
