Not following anyone anymore? Here's how to fix that.

Hi everyone,

It looks like the "following users" has been wiped out. I don't know why, and I don't know if it will be fixed by @KasperVld, but there is a simple fix to get back where you were before.

Go to the profile of a user you were following, and click the "follow user" button. :)

I hope that it gets restored to pre-wipe status, but this should work for now.

Are you saying that if I follow one person that I was following before, then my list will be restored?  Because that didn't happen for me.

Or are you saying I have to search my memory, remember everyone I was following (20+), and individually click the "follow user" button?  If so, I'd hardly call that a fix.

Now the hard part... jarring this old brain into remembering everyone I was following...

Isn't that the truth... if I have left anyone out, it's certainly not intentional.

Also, if you're trying to go in the opposite direction (i.e. "who was following me before?"), then if you're lucky, the Wayback Machine may have a reasonably recent snapshot of your profile, including public followers.

Example, for @Just Jim:

https://web.archive.org/web/20160706073916/http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/profile/148725-just-jim/followers/

...Alas, this won't tell you whom you were following, and there's no guarantee whether archive.org even has a snapshot of a given member's profile (let alone how recent it is), but FWIW, there it is.
