Its verified.... officially in the science journals... thinking now, back in the 70's they "invented" tofu "meat"... even sold it, but it died off fairly quickly.

Its one thing to invent these things, quite another to convince the meat eating public to actually eat it.... thank goodness, or New Zealand's economy would be destroyed.

These things should be banned already.

This, note that crowd-funding work nice for stuff like gadget or tools, here the main issue is knowing you have an sale volume before starting production. 
It can work for computer games but this is far harder, its totally unsuitable for research projects like this.

Yeah, kickstarter and any/all forms of SCIENCE! do not mix. Video games at least will be usable. Science might just fail and lose tons of money.

Well, then there's StarForge. *shudder*
