Other Mod Parts: The Yawmaster from from Wobbly Rockets.

Post your speed if it is above 10,000m/s

This isn't a serious challenge just want to see some spaceplane configurations.

I made it to 15342m/s with my MLSMFSCHFEC, or Miniature Life-Size Model Functional Space Plane-Halo Frigate Engine Configuration.

This challenge is pretty retarded if you include mod parts.

10km/s ain\'t all that hard to achieve with vanilla parts, but with mods it\'s laughably easy.

Actually i\'d argue that 10km/s is quite a challenge for normal parts.

Anyway, C7 pack is super balanced. No Warp Nacelles there!

Also, Tuned SAS and the Yawmaster are both control modules, so don\'t insult things you don\'t understand.

Also also, my craft doesn\'t work anymore. C7 nerfed the wing tanks.

Which were the only cheat part.

I will have to re-run my 'stock' parts speed runs as that computer was wiped a few days ago after a virus. But I have been 532178m/s with add on parts.

Actually, that was with only c7 parts. Just found a glitch where you go super fast if you warp into the atmosphere.

I spent a couple afternoons trying to get >10km/s using KSP Silisko Edition. Quite a challenge, but I eventually got a speed that asymptoted out to 11,535m/s. The rocket is terrifying on the pad and needs some luck to avoid 'twang' toppling you over right after liftoff. Was able to hit 100Gm from Kerbin in just over 100 days
