Orbit Challenge!

The furthest possible orbit you can get (with vanilla parts)? Let's have a bit of a challenge! Please provide 'evidence'.

Also, to define an orbit, you must pass Apokee and Perikee both twice and both of the values to be (resonably) the same. It doesn't matter how circular the orbit is, simply how far away from the planet you are on average!

This seems like a test of patience more than anything else. Just get up to escape velocity, drift outwards as far as you like, and burn into orbit.

Interesting, it will actually be harder the further out you go, because I dontthink there is an extended orbit specs chart about 100 Km

People have made a couple of different calculators you can use out to any distance. Check the first few posts in this thread.

Heck... I made a Hohmann Transfer Orbit Calculator for easy change of orbits.

The challenge is to know how much Delta-v you got left through...
