Hi does anyone know a complete history of space flight from 1957-present?

What with thousands of flights.

Try Google. I googled "complete history of space exploration" and it gave me about 30 million results, not sure which one you wanted or I'd have linked it.

Searched Google but unfortunately it only gave me results of the main events in this order Sputnik 1, Explorer 1, Vostok 1.

What I need is a complete history just the names would do.

There've been roughly five and a half thousand space launches. Asking for a complete history of it is like asking for a complete history of the US, it's a big ask.

I'm not asking the community to do it.

I'm really asking if anyone knows of a website with all launches in chronological order.

I had one and bookmarked it but when my kindle decide to factory reset itself it deleted it and I don't know the site name.

Sorry if I sound impatient, Its kind of on my nature.

At the moment the 1st three years of space exploration would be fine so far I'm I've done; Sputnik 1, Sputnik 2, Explorer 1 and i know the next two are Vanguard 1 and Sputnik 3

This site appears to have a pretty comprehensive list, but it is broken up by category.

Well this should do for manned flights don't need the date just the names. Thanks now to find an unmanned version.

The best bet appears to be the **** in spaceflight (e.g.)series of Wikipedia articles, but they are heavily cluttered with suborbital launches.

Although you might get the impression that its all the us or russia, it gets a lot more complex, here's a brief list of the various countries that have done stuff that were not the us or ussr/russia

UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Netherlands (europe is the place im least familiar), Canada, Japan, Israel, South Korea, China, Brazil, India etc.

African nations are apparently starting to think about doing something...

And they all made contributions, some more important than others...
