A mod that adds a launch site near that river is what you are looking for. I think kerbinside had one. Although if Kerbin had a canyon added , it should be in a mesa like area. Maybe they could add one north of KSC, where the Sahara desert would be on Africa (lets face it, KSC's continent is so similar to Africa that you can use one as a location reference for the other) Edit: looking at a map, I think the sandy coastal area in southwest of KSC's continent (we need some names for these places!)

RIOT!! DOWN WITH THE CROWN!! please don't ban me =P In all seriousness, I completely agree with each point expressed here. However, I see no reason why the tank has to replace the round8, when they can easily coexist.

The round 8 is an amazing piece of engineering! Its incredibility useful for aesthetics and functionality. Also, We have whack job on our side (He's probably in it for the noodle rockets) so be afraid? In all seriousness, while I would welcome a 1.25 meter xenon tank (along with some engines and reactor *wink wink nudge nudge*), I see no reason why we have to axe this wonderful part. Thankfully, it isn't set in stone yet. There have been several times when Squad has made a decision that we don't like, and they listened to us. Why should this instance be any different?
