  1. Is this mod still in active development, and is a new version being planned? There seem to be a few balance problems or part statistics that don't make sense. Are these intentional? -Some of the recycling modules are insanely heavy; The 1.25m Carbon Extractor is 5 tons, which is 100x heavier than a battery of similar size! -All of the radial Hex Cans sizes have the same volume (277L) when stored in KIS Kontainers. -All of the radial Hex Cans seem to use the same model for placement when used with KAS. Once they're anchored down then they show the proper size, but before they're anchored they all seem to use the Regular size model (Not sure if this is a KAS issue or a TAC issue) As a general question, is any kind of a graphical/model update planned for any of the parts? They're functional, but don't seem to fit well into the aesthetic of KSP.
  2. Hello, I've used CKAN to install EVE along with parts of the Astronomer's Visual Pack on a virgin KSP 1.0.5, and it doesn't seem to have any effect. There are no clouds, no city lights, no nothing. I've checked the Game Data directory and the EVE/Boulder directories are both there. Is there something else I have to do to enable EVE? I'm using: -Clouds - High -Distant Object Enhancement (Which does appear to be working) -Clouds for Eve and Jool - 4K -Sandstorms and Surface dust -Snow -Surface Glow I really appreciate any help you can give!   3. It seems to be graphics related, I've found after more testing that it's basically as soon as I go into the actual launching or viewing craft in orbit. I can far around building rockets in the VAB all day with no problems, but now after I go to launch, it shuts off within ten seconds of launching. I'm watching all the temperatures and they're not out of range, GPU is in the low 70s and CPU cores are in the high 50s. I can't be sure about power, it's a very old laptop (Bought it new in early 2008) and the battery is in quite bad shape, probably can't get more than 20 minutes out of it if I tried. However, I've tried removing the battery and only using wall power, or using just the battery, and I still get the same result. Hard power-offs. Oddly, no other intensive program does this, I can do plenty of other gaming and other intensive applications with no problems (aside from overall slowness that I expect from the system of it's age.)
  4. It seems very temperamental. It'll shut down sometimes after just a couple minutes, or sometimes after a solid half-hour of putzing around in the VAB.
  5. Thank you for the advice. It's a laptop, I took it apart and cleaned it (and applied good thermal paste to everything) a few months ago. I've been keeping an eye on the CPU temps while playing, and they never go that high and the fan never really goes into dustbuster-mode like it does when I'm rendering video.

I do a lot of other fairly intensive activities on this system, lots of video rendering/editing, other gaming (older stuff obviously), and CAD work. And I've never had a program do this before, it's not a crash to desktop or hard lock, it's a complete power off. And now I'm really annoyed that I spent $30 on a game that might not even work, at all, for even the basics.
