  1. Trying this out for the first time(i've read back, didn't see anything about it). I'm having an issue with post-processing on, the ocean when at around 1,000 to 150,000km flickers and has black spots all over it. Didn't know if this was a known bug in the works or if it's just an issue with me. I do have sky kerbalism installed, if the rescale has anything to do with it. Other than that I'm loving this mod This happens on launch and KSC view (runway is cut out in the screenshot for some reason) EDIT - I fixed it by messing with the exposure a bit, looks less foggy but nevertheless I actually like it better
  2. I've only used the 64bit version back when I was running so many mods my usage with it would go up to 6 gigs of ram. Today I'm a purist in a sense that I stick to mostly stockalike modding or simple gameplay enhancing mods, don't use part mods that much anymore. That said, when I found an issue with 64bit it could easily be fixed or addressed myself and I was fully aware it's not the mod's fault. I don't use 64bit now because I really don't need to(my mod list has shrunk significantly) and ATM does fine for the cloud pack I have. I think there needs to be an understanding between the two groups, because there are plenty of harmless 64bit users out there and putting that entire community in exile is completely insane. Do what you want and I highly respect the modders, but there needs to be some consensus where the two sides meet. 64bit users have the recognize the 64bit KSP is highly unstable and that bugs in the game are not due to mods but using a highly unstable version of the game. Then again, modders could recognize that some simply prefer to use it and without it, they would not be able to play the mods they create. Then again, it's up the modders and it's their mod's, if you don't want to serve anyone using 64bit that's up to you, cool. ah yes...you smell that...segregation
  3. 1. Which planet pack do you prefer and why? I prefer Kerbal Galaxy 2 right now I'm not a huge fan of Kerbol planet packs really but out of those two I've tried I really liked OPM better. I felt Kerbol plus was too compact and crowded, though it did offer alot of new content and many new planets to explore. I like both, but more personal preference for realism(not that KSP is super realistic anyway) would be OPM. 2. Would I be able to use both without destroying my computer/crashes? I'd say Kerbol Plus is perhaps more demanding, I would recommend if you're worried about memory to use Active Texture Management, it's worked fine for me but then again I use stockalike parts only, that means memory usage isn't as high because most stockalike parts mods use stock textures(i think). Overall I'd recommend you try both, i've found using usi I've enjoyed kerbol plus alot since it gives a large variety of planets to occupy
  4. I found a solution for systems not showing, it works for me at least and the mod runs flawlessly now You need to download the Module Manager, which is why most people are reporting that the mod works once they install other mods, it's likely because they come with Module Manager. If you don't want to use other mods then just get Module Manager from here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55219-1-0-x-Module-Manager-2-6-6-%28June-25%29-With-more-nyan
  5. I've been playing KSP on and off for several years now, the last version I really played was 0.25 I believe and I remember spending days on it now I'm back and wow, the official realease is just....beautiful, combined with mods with is perhaps one of my favorite games. So yeah, I decided to join because I'm always browsing them, might as well get in here and perhaps contribute something.
