  1. No, I'll look into that, maybe I'll be able to sort it out. To be honest, I hoped there would be a simple fix for my issue, sort of click-there-and-everything-is-fine thing Thank you anyway, Michal.don
  2. I started the editor, but I still can't figure out how to resize it - I feel like a complete idiot how am i supposed to do it? Michal.don
  3. Hi, my KER readouts formating started to misbehave. It's probably not a bug, i think that there is something wrong in my settings, but I have no idea how to fix it. Now it looks like this, and the radout in the VAB is broken in a similar way: If anyone knows how to fix it, I would be much grateful. Thanks, Michal.don
  4. New mission, oh yes!!!! I have a question regarding the rules of this one though - Is refueling in LKO permitted, or does the shuttle have to deliver the outpost using just the fuel it starts with on the launchpad? Because I'm afraid if that's the case, Kolumbia isn't able to do this, and I'll have to design a new shuttle. Thanks, Michal.don
  5. Because I finished the station, and asteroids are stil broken (I checked, the A-class stil weighs 150 t), I decided to try the bonus mission with the fuel pod. I managed to put it in a 350x350 orbit with plenty of fuel left. This challenge was great, and me and my crew are really looking forward to more missions, if they eventually come (or the asteroids are fixed). Thanks for the challenge, Speeding Mullet, and I hope to hear from you soon with more awesome missions to do with Kolumbia Michal.don
  6. Well, Minmus's low gravity is quite forgiving, so it's not a problem. I have not built a minmus base in 1.1 yet, but I tested by old design of a moving rover, and it works fine. It looks like this: Also, there are some great tutorials on basebuilding, it could help you to check them out. Michal.don
  7. Hey there, Kolumbia is back! This time, it helped build a station, which was named in honor of Sheloly Kerman, who sadly left us forever, when he was eaten by a Kraken on his mission to Minmus. We'll never forget. Here are the four albums of the four flights. I hope everything was done and documented properly, and even my reentries are starting to get better Michal.don
  8. Yeah, that was tough to watch. Kinkaid's performance was the best he had this tournament, but still, it's hard to win if you only score once.... So, for the rest of the games, good luck to Suomi, i hope you'll beat the Russians in the semi's
  9. Well, it's a shame with the NHL, on the other hand, a lot of young talented players get the chance to play instead of the "stars", which is a good thing. And the Finland team plays really great this year, I loved the game they played against Canada yesterday. And I'm looking forward to see them in quarterfinals, too.
  10. I'm not sure I fully understand the phrase "bat out the rink", but if you meant if there are still brawls, then certainly
  11. No worries, these little things are sometimes hard to figure out by yourself Michal.don
  12. Hi, If your other Kerbals are within the physics range (2,3 km), which I suppose they are, you can switch between them and other vessels using the "[" and "]" keys. Michal.don
  13. Hi guys, I know that this tournament isn't so important for Americans and Canadians, but in my country (Czech Republic) it is very popular. Is any of you watching the tournament, which team do you support, and what do you think about the games so far? Go Czechs! Michal.don
  14. Wow, that's a great looking station. I'm afraid mine will be much more basic, my computer is rather low-end, so I have to keep part count reasonable, and I'm by far not such a good space architect About the 'roid landing, do you know whether the bug where all the asteroids have a mass of about 150 tonnes is fixed? I have great faith in my shuttle, but that is probably a bit too heavy Michal.don
  15. I had a busy couple of days, finishing the projects for my university, and working on a few interesting things at my job.... So naturally, instead of studying, I flew another mission I went for the level four, the rescue mission. The mission itself was fun, and my shuttle did just fine, except for the reentry part, which was again a bit funny (I'll eventualy learn to do it properly, I promise ). Anyway, there's an album from the mission: See you soon, I'm already designing a space station for the next part Michal.don
  16. Yes, I did use the spin stabilisation, unfortunately I did not take the pictures when I fired the separotrons.... As for the inclination of the orbit in the third mission, It's possible to see it in the fifth picture, I set one of my equatorial stations as target, and the inclination is 25,8° So far I am having a great time competing in your challenge, I probably will try another mission in a few days. Thanks, Michal.don
  17. Ok, so I had a bit of time, and finished the second and third level of the challenge. Kolumbia is flying great, except for the reentry part, which can be a little wild, and I still didn't figure out an optimal reentry profile. The second part went quite well. The third was a little more complicated - I had to fly it twice, because the subassembly seems to be a little broken - the jr docking ports on the solar arrays are blocked, and impossible to dock to, si I had to rearrange them a bit. Other than that, all went according to the mission plan. I hope everything is properly documented, have a nice weekend, Michal.don
  18. Hello, I humbly present my new Shuttle, Kolumbia. I started with the first mission, but am confident that Kolumbia is capable of more. I'll probably attempt the next few challenges over the weekend. The mods I used for the shuttle are KER and the SRBs are from the SpaceY pack. I have a few more mods installed, but I don't think ay of them are involved. The shuttle doesn't have any RCS yet, but I'll need to include some for the orbital assembly mission, I hope it is not a problem. Michal.don
  19. Thaks, Waxing_Kibbous, I'll give it a try. (Yep, tried, and works perfectly, exactly what I needed. Thanks) Michal.don
  20. Hi guys, I'm in the process of trying to build a functioning space shuttle. So far, it's going quite good, but even the Kickbacks look very tiny in comparison to the MK3 shuttle. Is there a good mod that provides bigger SRBs? Thanks, Michal.don
  21. Well, my base doesn't really jump, it sort of starts to move like a snake Maybe I'll try to undock and re-dock all the parts, maybe the legs could improve. Anyway, thank you both, Michal.don
  22. Yes, I play 1.1.2. All the reaction wheels are disabled, and there is not much clipping going on, so I guess it's the legs misbehaving. Shame, I'll have to wait until the bug is sorted out, I guess... Such a nice base it was.... Thanks for your thoughts, Warzouz. Michal.don
  23. Hi guys, A serious problem has happened to my Mun base. The base is modular and was built on the surface of Mun from cca 10 independent modules. Everything went really smooth, but when I loaded the base yesterday, it started to wobble after aproximately 10 seconds. The wobbling became stronger and stronger and after a while, the base disassembled violently in a huge ball of fire and sent the poor kolonists to a suborbital trajectory. When i quickloaded the last save, the same thing happened two or three times. And the last time I tried quickloading, tha base didn't explode, but started to move across the surface at about 1 m/s. My install isn't heavily modded - just KIS/KAS, KER and chatterer. I suspect that the landing legs are somehow at fault, but I have no idea how to fix it. I would appreciate any advice, I really like my base and a lot of time went into building it. If it would help, I can post some pics when I come home from work. Thanks, Michal.don
  24. For the first part of the ascent, it's necessary to keep the rocket nose-heavy, I disable the two top tanks, so the bottom one is depleted first, and enable them in flight just before it runs out of fuel. It's still not very stable, but it's possible to handle. Michal.don
  25. Ok, did some tweaking, on my last try, I was carrying too much fuel. I left some of it at home, and managed to get the lighter version (795 kg) to orbit on fumes. I don't have KER installed, I did the math by hand, but it seems to agree with the indicated mass (0,80t). Michal.don
