  1. Woah, this is a thing that exists? I like to think my career mode fixes discussion inspired this. Is this still being developed?
  2. @ZooNamedGames What launch vehicle is being used currently? Should I get one developed ASAP or is one already ready?
  3. Damn, alright. Time to get to work I suppose. I'm thinking I could just remove the 2nd stage and keep the on board satellite propulsion system. Or I might just build something new from the ground up. Time to see what I can do.
  4. That's the spirit. How about the Herox I? That might do and will get about 1/3 of the how much the Herox II can get into orbit.
  5. Just wait until you see /r/itwasagraveyardgraph! Yeah, I get that. I did use that number in the standard TWR formula and it checked out, but I had my doubts, such as "Did that give me how much to lift to LEO, or what my rocket mass was", "Did I math incorrectly?", "What even is my grade in math right now?", "Did they really do the monster math?".
  6. "KSP is so easy, I can't believe it took you 100 hours to get to the Mun! I can get anywhere in 10 minutes!"
  7. 5/10, the top row looks a bit unorganized, but pretty nice.
  8. I wish someone would summon me. D: @Joco223, get over here!
  9. Alright guys, /r/theydidthemath! The Herox II can certainly lift a payload into a 180x180 inclined in orbit. But here's the question... How much can it lift? With some pretty rough testing courtesy of KER's TWR readouts and a dummy payload, I got a payload of 26.2t. (snip) Here lies what used to be math that I just couldn't believe. Using a formula I got something like 720t before the TWR gets to 1. This did not at all seem right, so I'm going to stick by about 26.2t to 180x180 @ 20o.
  10. Wow, thank you so much man! I'm not really an RSS/RO expert, but this launch vehicle seemed to work well! If you guys would like, I can look into making it reusable, but I don't think we're working with funds here. Edit: If it isn't too much to ask, may my name be added to the LV development team now?
  11. ~Presenting~ The Herox II An orbital launch vehicle developed by HC Orbital. The Herox II will be painted orange when used in launches from now on. Herox II can carry well over 5t to LEO without issue. Alongside being a powerhouse, the Herox II is very dependable. You can trust this rocket for all of your launches. It also carries an optional upper stage engine for orbital corrections, which is included by default in the craft file. Craft File
  12. It will be done tomorrow. To clear confusion, by tomorrow I mean March 16th. Also, all engines must be liquid fueled? What about first stage SRBs and ullage motors?
  13. Alright, I'll begin work on it soon. Thanks for responding. May I ask where I can submit the completed vehicle?
  14. Alright, is there any requirements? Do I have to submit an application? Or do I just supply a launch vehicle?
  15. I have just submitted my payload suggestion. If an launch vehicle engineer is needed, I'm willing to join the team.
  16. Well first off, you're coming along pretty bad already with the title. Calm down. Just wait, my friend. As we like to say around here, 1.1 is coming SoonTM, or ItWillGetHereWhenItGetsHereTM. I've always felt pretty bad for that guy. He makes a small little game and it gets overrun by one of the worst communities.
  17. Wait, are you playing the demo? Do mods even work on the demo?
  18. The twitch link doesn't seem to be working. Am I missing something?
  19. I'm going to be 100% honest with you right now. I honestly don't feel like you should be modding if you have to ask for ideas after adding a couple parts. You're mod should be about your sole creativity. As soon as you rely on the ideas of others then all you're doing is bringing other people's individual ideas to life. Which is fine, if you're making a mod that has the sole purpose of doing just that. Not to mention it'll soon become a mess of parts with no real direction or theme. I don't want to discourage you from modding at all, but you should take some time to think about your mod. Your mod is a craft. If you throw together a bunch of random things, you're not going to have a good craft. If you take time to think about it, you'll get something good. You should also start using some grammar. Many will be discouraged from you mod if they see that you can't care enough to capitalize ans use punctuation.
  20. Could we get other mirrors?(eg: SpaceDock, GitHub)
  21. Honestly? Hold off on release until you make a module manager patch instead. Overwriting Squad files is not a good thing to do.
  22. Ah yes. I remember in my first days when I made a challenge and you criticized it. Good times.
  23. Yeah, I've seen videos of RSS/RO and the idea of having to use kOS for a predetermined landing sequence is just so intriguing to me. I've started my RSS/RO career yesterday. I made some sounding rockets but unfortunately go stuck at a point where I couldn't get any more science. I cheated in a little bit of science and went on to now at sub-orbital. It's certainly a fun experience and is worth trying out. It gets you a nice sense of accomplishment.
