  1. I have been looking forward to getting this one. I missed out on the original Eagle and I'm really happy that someone is bringing it back. Thanks man! You're awesome!
  2. Yeah, just the engines alone in this mod are pretty fun but the whole craft is the proverbial bat out of hell. lol I hope we'll see an update sometime.
  3. I'll try to wait and I know you guys need time to come out with a good working mod. But please forgive our impatience!
  4. You know, the cockpit looks like it would make a great pod for a tiny spacecraft similar to the ones on the Discovery in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Have you made such a beast? Damn, time to go looking... lol
  5. Thanks, I was not using the Steam version but now I know that I have to do it the hard way now.
  6. I am new to the full game so I do not know if this is a known issue, but I have noticed that the KSP launcher does not give me the option to patch the program. While I do have some mods installed, I am not so sure that they are the reason since the mods are not even loaded yet. I am not sure where to start troubleshooting this problem.
  7. I have read somewhere that KSP is coming out on the different console systems and I was wondering what people knew about that. While release dates are never certain--I know that things can change, or be delayed, ... However, it would be cool if someone has a rough guess at when a release for the different systems are planned. (Again, I know that things can change.) It is cool to see how this game has been growing in popularity. I have been playing the demo for quite a while and I was really happy to finally be able to buy the full game. I wish Squad and the KSP team a lot of luck in getting this game out in more formats. While as players, we care deeply about the game and we continue to look forward to seeing this game grow and I know that for the developers, getting paid for their efforts allows them to continue to develop this and more great games. Console releases could be a good thing--handled well--and can continue to increase the popularity of the game. I set this game along Minecraft in terms of it's potential for both profit for the company and enjoyment of the players. Both games also tie heavily in their user's creativity and I think that is one of the big draws of these games for us--to tap into our imaginations as we build stuff and have fun.
  8. This is still pretty handy. Will you do any updating of this?
  9. I was wondering if those of us--with the paid KSP--could play a little with some of the KSPEdu parts? Some of the stuff could be fun to play with or perhaps give us some more information on our aircraft performance.
  10. I wonder if you could pitch the game to a company like Looney Labs? Andy was a former NASA engineer and he may get a kick out of it. He is also pretty experienced with licensing if you look at the many different versions of Fluxx he's put out.
  11. If, I wanted to try this version out what would I require? Will it work with KSP .90? if so, what version of Interstellar and other mods would I need for KSP .90? I will take a peek at the newer version as well.
  12. Well, I'm using Firefox. But I hope the Kerbalizer gets fixed soon since I spent the two bucks. I'd hate to think I wasted the money.
  13. Muting the game when it's not in the foreground is another good idea, but a mute would still be useful for other reasons.
  14. Thanks! It just occurred to me after trying to follow along with Scott Manley's Career Mode tutorial.
  15. I'm having issues with the Kerbalizer and I am not sure where is the right place to talk about it.
  16. So as long as the flag is the right size, it's pretty easy to add your own custom designs? I don't have to fiddle with any hidden tags in the image file itself?
  17. Too bad you're busy right now. I liked that Traveller Scout Ship you did in the previous thread. I think a Traveller pack would be great for those of us who've played the game. (I've played what's now called Classic Traveller.) There are so many great and iconic ships for the game. That alone could lead to an interesting set of mods. Gravity drive--perhaps reachable late in a mod like Interstellar or even a jump drive could be interesting with the original source's constraints. Fuel could be scooped up around gas giants or pumped in. Week-long jumps with distance limitations based on the engine and ship tonnage, ... The balance could be worked out reasonably well.
  18. I think they need to reorganize the directories in the mod so it is a little more obvious where things go. The stuff in gamedata goes in that directory. Ships go in the ships directory in the KSP main directory. I wasn't sure where the flags went so I put that directory in the one directory I placed in gamedata. Perhaps a little help for us KSP noobs would not be out of the question? That being said, this ship does move like the proverbial bat out of hell. [Edit] I saw in another post that people added flags to gamedata/Squad/flags/ directory.
  19. I love that fact that you guys are fans of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's stuff. I love their models and they came up with some great ships. I don't know if it's even possible but imagine if someone could pull off a SkyDiver from UFO--if someone has, please let me know. I suspect that launching the fighter would have to be done with the surface though. I am eagerly awaiting for the updated Eagle right now. I loved Space:1999 as a kid and that mod was an influence on me actually buying KSP.
  20. How about adding a audio mute key or button? This would be great--for example--if I'm alt-tabbing to a browser to check out a YouTube video tutorial or other site where I may need to listen to what the individual is saying before returning and un-muting the game. That could also be great if you need to take a moment to listen to your significant other, parent, ... is saying to you while you have the game running.
  21. Thanks to both of you guys for the fast response. It's also good to see that it seems that Wayland is updating stuff as well.
  22. I remember seeing footage of the Eagle from Space:1999 in KSP. Has that project been abandoned or is it hiding in some deep, dark corner of the Internet?
