  1. When building a large plane for Weekly Challenge 2, I noticed that when hitting "S" on my keyboard, the control surface on the largest procedural wing looks strange and twisted, see the image attached. KSP Version KSP2 V1 Operating System and version (Windows 10, Windows 11) Win11 CPU and GPU models, any other system information which could be relevant i9 12900H, RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU Steps to Replicate Actuate the control surface on a large wing
  2. No, I can't recover to the SPH or the VAB. I can't recover my vessels at all except by scrapping them the stock way EDIT: oh, I understand. I can't recover rockets until I unlock shuttle tech but I can recover spaceplanes
  3. I'm having a problem with Kerbal Construction Time using RP-1. When I roll my sounding rocket out to the pad, I have the option of recovering to the VAB to fix failed engine ignition. However, once the mission has ended and the rocket parachutes back down I am unable to recover the vessel to either the SPH or the VAB via the KCT menu. I don't have a screenshot of it to share but the menu looks similar to this one from an unrelated reddit post, even when the vessel is still active, ignoring the craft that is under construction:
  4. Apologies if this has been asked before, but how do I separate out individual models if I imported a .craft file? I would like to modify a few so they are 3D-printable and then export them as .stl
  5. I believe the Ghidora+Fairing craft file is a bit broken... Also, the fairing piece you grab from the parts menu has an attachment point half way up the fairing
  6. I think the problem was the shroud! I have all the dependencies except animated decouplers installed. Thanks!
  7. I'm having an issue with the B5 texture decoupler/interstage for Ghidora flickering a lot. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
  8. When I attempted to boot up KSP today, I got several "fatal errors" stemming from B9 Part Switch. I've pasted the relevant portion of the log below, any help would be appreciated! EDIT: It was because of the Airline Kuisine update [ERR 15:51:52.493] Module ModuleB9PartSwitch threw during OnLoad: System.Exception: Fatal exception while loading fields on module ModuleB9PartSwitch on part dsak.ess.al ---> System.Exception: Exception while loading field subtypes on type B9PartSwitch.ModuleB9PartSwitch ---> System.Exception: Exception while loading fields on subtype PartSubtype Water ---> System.Exception: Exception while loading field tankType on type B9PartSwitch.PartSubtype ---> System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: No tank type named 'DS_H2O' exists at B9PartSwitch.B9TankSettings.GetTankType (System.String name) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.TankTypeValueParser.Parse (System.String value) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataMappers.ValueScalarMapper.Load (System.Object& fieldValue, .ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataField.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataList.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataList.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataObjectExtensions.LoadFields (System.Object obj, .ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.PartSubtype.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at B9PartSwitch.PartSubtype.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Parsers.NodeObjectWrapperIContextualNode.Load (System.Object& obj, .ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataMappers.NodeListMapper.Load (System.Object& fieldValue, .ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataField.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataList.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataList.Load (.ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.NodeDataObjectExtensions.LoadFields (System.Object obj, .ConfigNode node, B9PartSwitch.Fishbones.Context.OperationContext context) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at B9PartSwitch.CustomPartModule.OnLoad (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at B9PartSwitch.CustomPartModule.OnLoad (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PartModule.Load (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 [LOG 15:51:52.513] PartLoader: Part 'DeepSky/AirlineKuisine/mk2tank_ess_along/dsak_ess_al' has no database record. 9. yes, the new ones from the update today. If I delete the pod and put it back it is fine, but the stock craft file is messed up
