  1. I use this feature all the time when building mk 2 spaceplanes. I have the mk 2 expansion mod so its nice to just see all the relevant parts, sense it allows you to filter by cross section.
  2. Wow! this is an insane level of detail, one of the best things I’ve read on here so far. i can’t wait for more.

    Hi.

Use the Lowne Lazy Method™. Imagine you have two vessels, vessel A, and vessel B. Vessel A needs to dock with B, so A right clicks on the docking port it wants to dock to on vessel B, and sets it as a target. Now, you switch to vessel B, and you do the same thing but opposite, you select the docking port you want to dock to on A, and set it as target. Now you use SAS on both vessels to aim at target always. And switch to A and throttle up.
  4. That happened to me. If you are playing on 1.10.1, do not use Korpernicus main branch, use Kopernicus Bleeding Edge. That should clear it up Oh and install manually, dont use CKAN.
  5. No, I'm not using Rescale. \ these are my settings, what should I change?
  6. https://imgur.com/gallery/IZFA2g6 Hey, I'm loving your mod so far, but its lookin a little . . . rough. Any idea what configs I could change to get these textures lookin more like what you have in your photos?
  7. Me on the surface: Yeah guys! Spend all the time you need, me and everyone else understand that making a game is hard. We definitely don't want a rushed game over a good game. Me in my head: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *angery noises*

    Hi.

@Anders_ As for the first question, Yes and no. The airplane tanks have a higher density* of liquid fuel, but theoretically you could use the regular tanks with oxidizer drained For the second, also yes and no. Whatever fits is fine, but I would recommend fins that have control surfaces**. For the third, it's because the fins will do all the steering for you. *: When I say density I mean fuel/dry mass or fuel/volume ratio, not fuel/wet mass ratio. **: Control surfaces are parts of a wing or fin that moves.

    Hi.

@Anders_ https://gofile.io/d/cMOyFT Here, I edited your spaceship, it should work better now. Now, you wouldn't learn anything if I didn't explain what I changed and why I changed it, so I'll tell you. First, on the top stage, you selected the nuclear engine. Good choice, however you did use the regular fuel tanks. The thing about the nuclear engine is, it only burns fuel, and does not need oxidizer. So instead of using regular rocket tanks, you should use the airplane tanks when when you use nuclear engines. The second thing I did was I added fins, this will assist in stability as well as maneuverability. Lastly, I changed out the "Swivel" engine for the "Reliant" engine, as you no longer need an engine that gimbals*. The "Reliant" engine has more thrust. *: Gimbal is when a rocket engine nozzle moves to steer the ship.

    Hi.

While helpful to learn, it is not necessary. I went to other planets long before I was able to rendezvous.

    Hi.

If you can post a photograph of your design here, then we would be able to help. But I can give you a piece of advice right now. If you press "T" before you launch, it will activate SAS, which will automatically stabilize your rocket.

    Hi.

I think he meant SRBs, they are solid rocket boosters, which basically means once you turn them on they cant be turned off. They are cheap but inefficient.

  15. Hey folks.

Sorry I promised to put out another mission, I've haven't had much motivation to play KSP lately, I hope to have one out by Election Day (Nov. 2 for non-Americans) .

    Thanks,

    bye

  16. Does anyone have the stock configs for the Sigma Binaries mod? Thanks in advance.
  17. Is there a mod that adds like, huge asteroids? I find E class asteroids aren't adequate for fuel mining, even with nuclear engines I can only get about 800 m/s of delta v out of them. Any mods that add F or even G asteroids? Thanks.
