Pretty excited for multiplayer, as there is only one mod I think for KSP 1 and it works somewhat well, but official support would be awesome.

While an update might be possible, many parts of it could conflict with current functions. There is an entire physics revamp going on. Incorporating that into the current KSP is just inefficient, and will introduce many bugs. -
