  1. Landing on the Mun is actually a relatively simple task, as is getting there. First of all you're going to want to make a ship capable of getting into orbit, then, fly that ship up, and try to get into an orbit with 0 inclination and that is about 100km x 100km. Then you're going to time warp until you see the Mun rising over the horizon of Kerbin. As soon as you see that, you're going to burn prograde. Press M , to look at your map and make sure you don't overshoot your target. As soon as your orbit changes to the Mun's SOI, then you're going to press X to cut all engine power. If you over shoot, don't worry, just point your ship retrograde and burn until you're back in the Mun's orbit.
  2. I agree with Dilin. Something like mediafire would be much more preferable. But back on topic, I LOVE the design of the rover. It looks very sturdy and very Kerbalish. (In a good way. )
  3. I haven't actually done this myself, as I have also had some trouble. But for a first step, I'd recommend getting the subassembly mod. That way, you can have all of your docking ports/landing legs/modules level with eachother. As with landing? When I land large habitats and structures, I usually just put an eject-able probe core on top so that way I can fly/land it just like a normal lander.
  4. This reminded me of my relatively low-end Close-Kerbol-Flyby (CKF) ship that used Kerbol's gravity to slingshot farther out into the system. And I really like the design for your ship.
  5. So you're going to try to build a modular base to connect piece by piece with docking ports?
  6. I can honestly say, this is probably one of my all time favorite SSTO designs. It's fun to slap a small probe on top of the fuselage, or two under the wings, take orbit, then let them go and shoot them off into the Kosmos. I also love just flying the two-seater around Kerbin. And then coming back and refueling, then taking orbit. The possibilities for this plane are almost endless. Good job.
  7. Looking at it for the first time actually made me feel bad for the Kerbal(s) that may or may not have survived that crash. Now they're on this desolate, and freezing planet. But Rareden does absolutely amazing work, and i'm sure whatever he does in the future will look amazing aswell.
  8. Try using a stack separator rather than a conventional decoupler.
  9. I can't wait to see your new render. All of your works are absolutely amazing.
  10. Oh great! A place to show my pictures! So here's Voyager near the atmosphere of Jool. This is the vehicle that launched Voyager. (95% accurate.) Here's my S.O.L. doing a close fly-by of Kerbol. Here's my long-range exploratory craft. Inspired by Icarus I & II from the film Sunshine. And here's my next-gen exploration craft. Capable of visiting the Jool System, and returning to Kerbin without refueling.
  11. Here's me Aerobraking in Jool's upper atmosphere at ~113km at around 8km/s after a direct transit from Kerbin. Quite a hectic ride.
  12. Wow, with a pack as simple as this, you've made quite a beautiful craft out it, Tommy. I applaud you.
  13. Yeah. It would make for some pretty awesome screenshots. But I don't think i'd play it for the actual gameplay.
  14. Hi, Shadow! If you're trying to land structures on the moon, i'd like to suggest using a parachute. They work really well! Haha. Just kidding. Have you tried using some sort of skycrane to do so?
  15. Some people would probably actually do that. Haha.
  16. Only if you're going to be close-ish to the craft. Because I see nothing wrong with how they look right now. It all fits together nicely and looks 100000000x better than KSP right now.
  17. What's the point of life if we're all going to die one day?
  18. I'm really excited to see your new piece.
