  1. I think the best option would be to pre-assemble a roughly symmetrical station in LKO, then boost it out past Eeloo.
  2. Are you going to play other games aswell? I have a list of parts somewhere, and it's a budget gaming desktop for about $500.
  3. Jeeeeezz, Calm down, will you? It's a game. It's not going to be perfectly realistic. Just appreciate the fact that he was even able to construct such a monstrosity.
  4. Yeah, it's the Kethane mod, where you can mine for Kethane, then i'm assuming that with it's black magic, the converter converts it into a usable substance in which that launchpad can use to create spacecraft which can be launched from the Mun.
  5. I can very easily see that you got your inspiration from the movie "Sunshine". I know someone has mentioned it earlier in the thread, but if you haven't already, you need to see the movie ASAP. It's a 10/10 in my book. And by the way, AMAZING work so far, Rareden.
  6. Quite a scary moment for the heads at KSC. They weren't sure how the new shuttle prototype would work .. The takeoff was fine, now came the moment for separation and the glide back to solid ground. Not to mention the heads of staff decided to design and construct a mothership-type aircraft. Although the takeoff was a bit wobbly, it flew like a dream. Lucky Bill.
  7. While not totally correct, I built something with a similar role to the Icarus II. Except .. Instead of bombing the sun, I just flew around it and and collected data (Let's just pretend our Kerbals didnt just eat toothpaste and give eachother wet-willies the whole ride.) Looking back on it i'm not very satisfied. But I sure was proud when I completed it.
  8. Exactly. The fuel lines DO make it un-authentic. But sadly the burn time for a lot of my common booster cores are longer than that of my core stage.
  9. I completely agree with Thiel. The feeling of launching a successful aesthetically pleasing rocket beats that of successfully launching a pancake-shaped hunk of metal and engines.
  10. I'll just leave this here.
  11. I use a more realistic and traditional design with a center stage, with liquid boosters on either side, both with fuel lines leading into the center. And it also works very well with smaller payloads.
  12. As i'm not ENTIRELY sure of your situation, I can't guarantee how helpful it'll be, but i'd suggest this ( http://ksp.olex.biz/ ). It's extremely helpful, and it's how i've done all of my interplanetary missions.
  13. All I can say is "wow".
  14. Is there a way we could get scaled up versions of these (1600x900)? I'd love to use these as a wallpaper on my laptop.
  15. Something simple. I like the contrast of blue on blue.
  16. I'd think that rover would tip on the first turn!
  17. I'm pretty sure he wasn't being that specific, and was only citing towards conventional desktop mice. But they're relatively cheap. I've had a nice portable travel mouse for the past couple years, works as good as new, and was only about 10 dollars.
  18. Definitely a challenge i'm up for. But it's 3am , so i'm going to try this as soon as i'm up in the morning.
  19. Yeah, I was a bit hard on the guy (No harm meant ) but I wasn't the one complaining about anything.
  20. Naaah. I think they're pretty called for. NWM DID say What a (CENSORED) stupid put the speed and navball up ...
  21. I'm sad to inform you of your lack of intelligence and your frequency of stupidity. The bugs with the Ion engine and mouse scrolling are non-existent for me. And the IVA's for the new pods are simply amazing. Yes. I agree that the navball should be lower, but you shouldn't insult the person who made them. I've had no problems landing with the IVA, and if you'd like to degrade someone else's work, then please, try to make it better. Oh. You can't.
