  3. Might as well update this with some progress on my build. Here are my parts so far. Getting my last two parts later this week.

  10. Might as well learn how to use these new trajectories correctly. Can someone explain the Non-Hohmann transfer trajectories? Do i just give the planet i want to go to a lead and burn till i get an intercept?
  11. That boat part mod uses more than one node for attachement, it should be no different here. Then agian, i am no modder.

    Video cards

    Unity, which is the Engine KSP is built on does not offload anything to your GPU. If you are not doing any sort of gaming i do not advise investing in any GTX or Rhadeon HD Graphics card.

  16. Yes, what he/she said. The rescue craft. Its got enough fuel to go anywhere. I even made the Rescue craft re-attachable with the aid of the New docking-port sr. Just realised that if i un-dock the rescue craft, trying to use the orion drive could get messy. Oh well, plenty of fuel for a return trip form the ship itself, dont need to send a rescue ship for the rescue ship. Could you make two attachment nodes. one node attaches to the central column of the feed tube and the secoond node that stacks. That could fix one problem, might crate some more along the way.
  17. I took a couple of snapshots of my Dres Rescue Craft, You can see them here. Looks like good progress. Making them color coded on an "order of intensity" could be better than writing on them.
  18. 5t is barely a challenge for the monster of a craft. Try taking a 125t Payload to Dres and back. Give the modder some time, He/she is making this mod out of the kindness of his/her heart. I am sure that he is doing all he/she can too clear up his probably massive list of things to do/finish/complete.
  19. Welcome to the literal ability to ride a shockwave. This Engine is Fairly well balanced compared to design sheets. In regards to the Kerbals and Radiation. Ide like to believe that kerbals can absorb and live off radiation. Read the design notes from the project. Radiation isnt really that big of a problem. Sweet with magazine stacks i can now attach RCS or 3m SAS modules. Im assuming that with the addition of magazines the "ammo" count goes up?
  20. 5-1 you say?, that is a monstrosity. I can already get a 125 Ton Payload to Dres in record time. The raw power this craft has made me make it my Universal Payload launcher, Perfect for any mission. In refernce to the Z control or Throttle. Personally after doing some testing with nervas for fine adjustments, I like it being bound to Z. Its very useful for course corrections, hammer out the large delta V number into a smaller manageale one for Nervas. Throttle controls would mess up that perfect balance. I want it to stay on Z.

  22. Indeed. Im in the process of building my rig so i just went for a single GTX 660. My board is good for 3way SLI so I may do that later on down the road, thats always an option. What are your specs?
  23. I was taking into effect that if he were to get an SLI setup he would have to change motherboards, which from situation to situation could be more expensive/a headache. So a simple solution with a nice boost over a single 660 would be a 680.
  24. When i first came across the idea of Nuclear Pulse Propulsion, I thought it would be perfect for Kerbal space program. While using this for my latest endevor to the Kosmos i saw just how "Kerbal" this is. It opens up so many doors for posibilities on future missions. I have nothing but praise for your endeavour into the making of this mod and wish you luck in its fufillment. A quick question, Why is the fireing of the Projectile depended/bound on/to the Z Key? Could there be a way to Adjust the timing at which the craft launches the projectile by using the throttle function?
