  2. Hey. I'm trying to make a planet called Burlap. I'm adding it to the outer planets mod. I followed the guide but nothing shows up in game.... I used textures from space engine and they're in the textures folder of Kopernicus.... Whats going on? I combined my planet with Outer Planet's, so just cntrl + f 'Burlap' also I'm confused about the color part under orbit... if it's rgba, why are all the other planets numbers below 1 for it?   4. Well I fixed it I reinstalled MKS/OKS, loaded up KSP and made sure ship selection worked. It did. I quit and uninstalled the mods again and loaded KSP up again. The selection still worked. I think it happened because, when I first uninstalled MKS/OKS, I had a station using some of the parts. KSP told me the vessel couldn't be loaded because, of course, I just installed the mods.
  5. I have a lot of mods. Everything was working great until I decided to uninstall MKS/OKS and mods associated with it. I booted KSP back up and now I can't select any vessels in the tracking station. However, if I launch a new ship and then go to map view, I can switch to them from there.... anyone know what's going on?
  6. Wondering the same thing Maybe one day Squad will add custom/random systems. They claim it would take away from the community experience ('Hey guys look I finally landed on Duna!') since planets wouldn't be the same for everyone, but this can easily be fixed by having a manual seed so you could share it.
  7. Ahh yes I thought I remembered there was a texture management thing -- just couldn't remember the name. Yeah, I've been around here before 2013, my stuff just got erased after the crash. I think the first build of KSP I played was when eve and the other planets were introduced... 0.16 right? Such a long way it's come and there's people here that have been around since build 1. Fantastic community. edit: Before trying texture compression, I tried Opengl. It works very well and in the time I've been playing, I would have crashed multiple times... OpenGL rules!
  8. Hey. I have more than a few mods installed, but not a ton either. The game was working fine earlier today and now it crashes after loading.... not sure what it is... someone know what's going on? Error.log part of output_log I think I may be out of memory for the game (even though my system has 16gb) because 64bit works but crashes when entering VAB
  9. Alright, I've been trying to figure this out on my own but I'm confused.. Custom planet mods, ie Planet Factory, look awesome... but I have no idea what the state of these mods are... They all seem to be dead, which is sad. Are they all dead? Is there a planet factory strain thats compatible with .25? Anything being worked on? I love the idea but the idea seems to be dead and theres seems to be a curse of these mods work being stopped on...
  10. This is so cool. Literally thought about coding something similar myself, but I found this instead. That's good because I barely know how to code. If you ever manage to get procedural generated planets to work as well... I would be so happy.
  11. I know this is an old thread, but it's still a great idea. Didn't want to make a new thread about the same thing In sandbox mode, I usually have 30+ flights going on... would be lovely to sort them by planet/moon or create a custom folder for a specific mission or something. Heck, even hide items. I don't want to delete my first satellite, but I don't need to always see it in the tracking station.
  12. I installed MKS/OKS and then installed this, but there are no resource settings, even in the settings menu... What am I doing wrong? edit: idk how but I ended up with a one year old version. All is good now. edit update: It maps.... but no resources show up on the map. Resource overlay is turned on in settings....... do I need more than a SAR scanner to get resources...... very confused.
  13. What Happens? - Ascent works as normal, reaches desired height, makes node to circularize. However, It will start the burn early AND not use a corrective angle to prevent losing altitude after you pass the apoapsis. Never had a problem with this before in mechjeb, but now I do.
