  1. I first saw this game when youtuber Kurtjmac started his lets play of the game. That was all the way back in 0.13. I actually didn't end up buying the game until 0.17, though, because that was when I thought it was appealing enough to be worth the money.
  2. I have Billy-bobrick Kerman. He's my best pilot.
  3. I think it looks like a really cool game. I have been wanting to get it... but I know that my computer would be unable to handle the game. Perhaps if I build a new computer over the summer.
  4. Yes indeed. Team 4676. This is our second year of competition.
  5. It's true The user below me built their computer.
  6. I am on our high school's robotics team. This is our second year so we are still lacking in funding and skill. I'm also the first chair French Horn in our band.
  7. This is my entry. Mods used: Ferram, B9, KW Rocketry (for the nose cone on the back) This plane is powered by a single radially attached ant engine on the underside connected to a toroidal tank. The slowest it managed to fly before stalling was 18.5 m/s. The plane only has two landing gears to reduce weight. SAS keeps the plane balanced while on the ground.
  8. If you look closely, the area just south of the north ice cap matches the color of the tundra biome.
  9. A few days ago, Leonov suggested a build for me on the same budget, games, etc. The build is here His full reply to me was: Hope this helps
  10. This computer would be a gaming PC. Specifically, I want to run Dayz. The budget will be ~$1000 Includes Windows Does not include peripherals I do live in the United States I would probably order from NewEgg or Amazon (Whichever has the part the cheapest). I do not plan on overclocking. Size and quietness doesn't matter that much. As long as the computer isn't obnoxiously loud. I don't think I would be upgrading this computer much after I finish it. I haven't really considered that. Possibly but the computer would start with a single graphics card.
  11. Here's a quick question: I wish to build a gaming PC with a budget of around $1000. Would I get more bang for my buck if it was an Intel or AMD based computer? If it makes any difference, this would be my first time building a computer.
  12. I'm American and I'm honestly no fan of the imperial system. The chances of my country changing its units: probably zero
  13. Overall, yes. I would really enjoy for there to be an incentive for nosecones, aerodynamic craft, etc. but also without making spaceplane building too complex.
  14. So I hear that there are relatively large performance increases. Will this reduce the problems I have from my graphics card which I have been told is really old? It is ATI Radeon HD 3200 (I hear it's pretty old) (I don't really have time to start up the game and check for myself. Finals are tomorrow )
  15. Did you try your own challenge? The rules for this forum state that the OP is supposed to attempt the challenge themselves. BTW, Scott Manley theorized that it's possible to land on Minmus. I can't see any craft going much farther due to the fact that having only a single rapier limits the size of the vessel.
  16. Good thing I have KSP on steam. KSP already updated when I got home.
  17. Danny2462 is chemically combined with Jeb's rocket.
  18. Actually, if you need to catch up, you need to lower your orbit. BTW, the orbit is probably low kerbin orbit (LKO), not geostationary. Just a tip!
  19. Right now, you can transmit the data over and over to get the scientific value up to its full potential. It doesn't actually deplete the experiment like you may think. In fact, if you transmit enough, the science you can receive will total more than the initial experiment says. Of course, in the upcoming update, transmitting data will be nerfed and there will be more incentive to bring samples back or to a science module. Still, transmitting will not deplete the science in the way you may think it does.
