  1. I use a mod. It shows the sphere of influence on the satellite. I don't have the mod off hand but if you need it, I can post it later.
  2. I just added this to my latest version of the game (haven't played in a while) and its giving me a compatibility error. Is there a way to fix it?
  3. I have the setting where I require a connection. Remember that most of us play the game cause we love space. I hate the answer that I need calculators and spreadsheets. Something should be in game. That's why we all hate doing our taxes.
  4. Is there a way to see a max sphere of influence from an antenna on a space craft? Antenna ranges mean nothing to me, if I cannot "measure" distances between planets. I just shot a rocket to moho and lost contact with it prior to it getting there. Space Debris now... :-(
  5. I googled it up. It should be on Duna (Mars), not the mun. Is there ever a chance I will be able to scan a mun Easter Egg LOL, I also noticed I put 2016 as my plaque date. Now I have to go back to the mun and replace the flag. :-P

  7. Is there a way to move the navball? It always seems to be in my way. I installed enhanced navball but I cant seem to find the menu to move the navball around. Perhaps its conflicting with NavBallDockingAlignmentIndicator ?

  9. What mod is Scott Manley using to get the planet earth and mars to look so good. I have not played Kerbal for quite a while and once the new version is out would like to get the full experience. Or is that stock now?
  10. No, in my case it had nothing to do with interplanetary missions. I got a rocket into orbit and tried to click on "target" in orbit. Instead it "Switched to". I switched back asap and then I noticed all my contracts were gone. I had some tourist contracts where they had to touch down on minmus and the moon that just became obsolete. I now have tourists in my possession that no longer are linked to any mission.
  11. This just happened to me, All my contracts are gone, and all of them are in the "Available" section again. All my archives are empty as well. Is there any easy way to edit a file and move missions from Available to Active?

  13. Is KSP looking at somehow allowing fuel tanks to be pre-set with a % or something so you can specify how much of the tank contains Fuel and the other oxidizer? Example: Setting the tank to 100% fuel, would mean no oxidizer is stored. Perfect for the nuclear engine. I find it such a waist to have to build big clunky interplanetary ships and drain the oxidizer out of them. Is there any mod out there that does this? Or do most of you just use the preset sizes and just drain the oxidizer?
  14. I play in Career mode but I edited the save game file to grab a bit more starting cash. I pick up contracts that do not feel like a grind, but the first chance where I see contracts that start repeating I win the Lotto and always do what I want to do. I mostly do this as I want to have Kerbals with Experience points. You cant seem to have that in sandbox mode.
  15. You use it for docking. That way when you RCS or turn the ship, up is always up. Down is always down. Left is left and right is right no matter how much you rotate your ship.

  18. Is this broken, the landing can wiki link: [url]http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Mk1_Lander_Can[/url] does not allow a pilot to command a ship. I didn't realise this till I flew a ship with a lander all the way to the moon and released it to go land. The only option I have is to turn on and off the engines. SAS and everything else is disabled. I have not tested MK2 Landing Can. I would think a Landing Can - should be able to be landed if it has a pilot.
  19. Found it, 3rd level in. I didn't see that part (it holds 2 of em)...ive been plugging modules together to try to support early mutli-person missions and it was a pain.
  20. I cant seem to find that mk1 crew cabin part. What "Cost" tech tree is it in?
  21. I've been playing since .18 and I didn't even know there are multiple saves. I crash em, I go rescue em.
  22. Very Very High Wind. Your flying with the wind and its going even faster than you so your smoke trail races past you. Duh
